Holiday Test
Steel is a material that is easily affected by the corrosive environment. Therefore, it must be protected against corrosion. For this purpose, steel pipes, which are generally used in natural gas and oil pipelines, are coated with a coating material. The control of the coating material (polyethylene, rubber, film, etc.) is done using the ‘Holiday Detector’. Fine holes, “pinholes”, gaps, pores, worn or weakened sections that may be found in the coating material are detected and repaired. Thus, it is protected from corrosion.

APPLICATION AREA
It is widely used in pipelines, petrochemical plants, plastic coating, aviation industry where corrosion protection is required. To put it more concretely, the use of holiday detectors is obligatory in matters such as natural gas and oil pipelines, coated tanks, building installations, enamel coating, rubber coating, lining, and the manufacture of coated machine parts.
