Radiographic Examination

Radiographic Examination
This method is applied to detect material and joint weld defects using Se 75 – Ir 192 Gamma radiation or X-Ray sources. The radiation source first passes over the workpiece and creates an image on the screen in the NIF or digital system. Evaluation is made by using the density differences on the film.

The radiographic test method can be divided into two main parts, such as casting and forging, where the base material or weld seams are checked. Indications such as shrinkage, gas and slag were investigated in material analysis. In the weld part, on the other hand, lack of coupling, insufficient penetration, slag, pores and other discontinuities can be detected.

Our operators have at least Level I certificates in accordance with EN 9712 or ASNT SNT-TC-1A. On request, the Radiographic Test procedure is prepared by our Level III personnel.
